PARTICIPATING RIDER DURING THE NHF?

Do you dream of riding in an international arena? When the country’s biggest horse show takes place at the Norwegian Trade Fair in Lillestrøm from the 13th– 16thof February 2020; you have the opportunity! No matter if you are a jumping- or dressage rider, riding the Mounted Games – or competing on an Icelandic horse – you can now join!

Norwegian Horse Festival has classes for all levels and age classes. There are international three-star jumping and dressage classes, pony classes, junior and senior classes, Mounted Games, the finals of the FERD Riding School Cup and the FERD Comeback Cup, the latter for rusty or fresh riders of 40+. In 2020, the Icelandic horse will compete on its own terms on an indoor oval track, for the first time at the NHF. The horse show in Lillestrøm accommodates it all.

Here are the competitions:

ESCAPADE

Silver and Gold League; These tours are open to anyone who is qualified to the current altitude according to NRYF’s rules for the classes. These are also international classes where the FEI rules apply. The horses must be 6 years or older, they must be owned by a rider or immediate family. Riders who compete here cannot have riding as livelihood. Riders must be 14 years old or older.

Silver League: 1.10m / 1.10m / 1.15m

Gold League: 1.20m / 1.20m / 1.25m

Anyone who wants to ride can sign up with sending an email to heidi@rytter.no.

Price NOK 13 900 Meeting includes entry fee, installation and entrance for rider, horse pass and 2 horse owners (must be mentioned in the passport) per horse. There are limited spots so do not wait to sign up!

In addition to the entry fee, there is an anti-doping fee to the FEI as well as the Manure Disposal Fee. These fees will approximately be around NOK 450 in total.

If you sign up and sign out by January 15th, you will not be charged. Cancellation between January 15thand February 5thcosts NOK 2,000 per horse.

If you cancel after the February 5th, you must pay full price. If a medical certificate or veterinary certificate can be submitted, you only pay NOK 2,000 for “No Show”.

If you fail to cancel, you must pay full price.

PONNI Tour Cat II / Cat I Pony

There will be a selection made by the Norwegian Equestrian Association regarding the riders. Interest must be reported to NRYF with sending an email to heidi@rytter.no.

The heights will be (cat 2 / cat 1): 1st day: 1.05m / 1.15m 2nd day: 1.10m / 1.20m, 3rd day Grand Prix: 1.10m / 1.20m

YOUNG SPRING

Open for the eight best 4 years old (2019) and eight best 5 years old (2019) from Arendal HM for youngsters 2019. In addition, the organizer will be able to invite some national and international riders.

The heights will be:

5 years old 1,10,1,10,1,15

6 years old 1,20,1,20,1,25

Junior jumping

Here, a selection is made by the Norwegian Equestrian Association. Interest must be reported to NRYF at Heidi@rytter.no.

The heights will be: 1st day: 1.30m, 2nd day: 1.35m, 3rd day Grand Prix: 1.35m.

Stall Lie Hvalen Pony Cup

Here the PROMOTION CUP rules applies. The best clubs in the Promotion Cup receive invitations and distribute these invitations to club riders based on selections.

FERD Riding School Cup

The qualifications in each circuit will count. You can find statutes here. Open to riding school riders who are qualified through the circuit.

CSI3 *

These are the big international leap classes. Here, the Norwegian Equestrian Association has a quota on a certain number of riders that they select. There will be a quota for seniors as well as a quota for young riders. Interest is reported to heidi@rytter.no.

We as organizers also have some wild cards (private invitations that we give out to our partners)

Small Tour: 1.30m / 1.35m / 1.35m

Medium Tour: 1.40m / 1.40m / 1.40m

Big Tour: 1.45m / 1.45m (Derby) / 1.50m

This is also a part of the Promotion Cup. The best clubs in the Promotion Cup receive invitations and distribute these invitations to club riders based on selections.

CDI *** Small and large tour

These are international dressage classes. It is the Norwegian Equestrian Association that selects the riders. The organizer has some wild cards for partners.

Mounted Games

The committee select the best riders in Norway to participate in Mounted Games.
